ABM Mahbubar Rashid, Managing Director.
With over 28 years of experience in the marine industry, Mr. ABMM Rashid has gained expertise in shipbuilding project management, planning, and implementation. In his leadership, Metacentre Ltd set an objective is to provide optimum and innovative engineering solutions in ship/boat design, marine consultancy, and construction, salvage, diving that benefit all stakeholders.
He has been involved in the development of international standard shipyard infrastructure and facilities. HIs experience in concept development, design, consultancy, construction and repair, communication among class, owner, and client, and practical experience as a marine engineer and naval engineering onboard ship has helped the company develop a well-rounded skill set. With extensive experience in the boat manufacturing industry, expertise of Ms. Badrunnesa Shoshi lies in designing and creating visually appealing and functional interior spaces for marine vehicles. She is adept at working with clients to understand their needs and preferences and translating them into beautiful and functional designs. Arafat Hussain, Director
As a naval architect Mr. Arafat Hussain focuses on providing highly valuable and practical designs for projects that focus on high-quality marine vessels with reduced manufacturing costs. His responsibilities include hull form development and stability, structural strength and stress analysis, and powering and propulsion system design. He has worked on over 15 projects, which have been proven to be extremely efficient operationally as well as cost-effective. He always puts the client and end user’s needs first to ensure his designs are practical, usable, and economically viable. He has proven practical knowledge in stress analysis (both linear and non-linear), hull surface development, stability, and propulsion system design. Besides CAD systems and special naval architectural software packages, he is proficient in using FEMAP and StarCCM+ for engineering simulation of stress and propulsion.
